Text: Have you calmed down yet babe?It was the simple text message Jenna sent to Mason after All or Nothing. She knew the result was NOT what he wanted at all. Who would want that result. She gave him time to process what happened before she sent a message. After her phone indicated it had been sent all she could do was wait for a reply. To be continued by Mason

He'd thought about what to say for quite some time, he wasn't the most...enjoyable, to be around in times like this.
"I've stopped tearing up the place."
It was up to her to interpret his meaning. At the very least, Mason believed in honesty, for whatever it was worth.

The eventual message came through as her phone pinged into life. When Jenna read the message she took the words literally. A little sigh fell from her lips before formulating a reply.
Text: That's a start. Is it safe to see you?

He eyes his phone, grumbling as he sits down.
I think I'll need to grab a shower first. But yeah, I'd like to see you too.

Text: Great. Meet you at the hotel bar in a hour?
Jenna suggests, she was currently sat in a rental car after doing a bit of driving to clear her head from worrying about Mason.

Sounds good. See you there.
He sets his phone down and grabs a towel, heading for the shower. Maybe some time under the hot water would help to clear his head.

That hour passed by pretty quickly. Jenna made her way back to the hotel arriving and letting one of the awaiting hotel staff park the vehicle. Once she was inside it was only a matter of moments before locating the bar and a few moments more before she was stood by Mason's side as he sat on one of the bar stools. Her eyes swept over him before instinct took over and she pushed herself into his arms in a tight embrace.
Jenna: It sucks what happened... I feel so angry about it too.
She whispered into his ear.

Mason Sterling: It's my fault. I screwed up right when I had the chance to close it out.
He shrugs a little bit, having seemingly come to acceptance. Of course, acceptance didn't mean a lack of anger...or the burning need for revenge. But right now wasn't the time for that. As Jenna often reminded him, he needed to have patience.

Jenna pulled back to analyse him, evaluating the tone of his voice. Leaving an arm draped around his neck she nodded.
Jenna: Still sucks.
She says softly.
Jenna: Hey you might end up on the same show as him... that spells bad news for him.
She suggests, trying to see the bright side with what happened.

He couldn't help but to chuckle at that one.
Mason Sterling: Feels good having a murder list, regardless of which brand they send me to.
Despite Eddie apparently having something "in the works" for him.

Jenna: Ooo a murder list? Is that what we're calling it?
She says, leaning in and placing a kiss against his lips before slipping back and taking the stool next to him.
Jenna: I take it Eddie has decided to refocus his efforts your way?

He shrugs a little.
Mason Sterling: My contract's up the night after SuperBrawl. He's lined up some really good options for me, should I decide to walk away after that. I mean, the money's fine and all but...I'm just sick of dealing with two-faced idiots in the front office.
Referring to his recent issues with Rathecock.

Jenna nods, they'd spoken about this many times but soon enough his decision was to become reality.
Jenna: You shouldn't have to deal with that... isn't that Eddie's job?
Jenna signals to the bartender and orders them both a drink.
Jenna: You know how I feel about your choice Babe, doesn't matter what you decide. Think we proved that with the spontaneous proposals.

Mason Sterling: When I hear something I don't like, I go straight to the source. Rathecock? He broke his word to me and since then, he's shuffled me to the back burner while he focuses on all this crap with Wescott. I didn't like it, so I called him out on it.
He sighs again, stopping himself from getting too worked up over it again.
Mason Sterling: Nothing I can't handle. And pretty soon, everything will be behind me. Well, everything but you and me.

Jenna smiles softly, and as their drinks arrive she takes a sip of the wine she ordered.
Jenna: Rathecock messed up big time. But maybe he won't be the issue after the draft. Perhaps Wescott will be the one in charge. However I don't think one is better than the other at this moment.
Jenna placed a hand on top of his.
Jenna: They need to appreciate you for the asset you are. A machine, we both know you deserve better babe.
