Syren: I guess I had to find a regular haunt, now that we're staying here.

The bartender nods and toddles off to fix their drinks, while Syren makes herself comfortable and shoots another amused grin in his direction. The wheels were certainly rolling once again.

She says with a curious grin as she raises her glass, knowing he meant well enough. She downs the first one and slams the glass down onto the bar, grinning even more.
Syren: It was my mother, actually. She was a prim proper type...
She shifts a little in her seat to face him.
Syren: She was one of those people that thought sports were for the guys. She wanted me to be a cheerleader and I actually was a decent one too, but my first live wrestling show changed that.

Syren: You should have been in here the other night. Actually saw a guy come in with several dozen roses and another guy playing on a violin with him. Was proposing to his girlfriend and had this whole elaborate thing set up. I mean, spent a lot of money on ceremony and all that stuff to do it in public for her...
She signals the bartender for another one as she shifts a little in her seat.
Syren: He gets down on one knee and shows her the ring. And it was a nice one too, lots of stones on it. So she looks down at it for a couple seconds then all of the sudden, she bolts right out the door. Left him right there. If he didn't have issues before that, he definitely had some when he walked outta here after.
