Shannon Marks was just getting out of the shower as she heard a knock on her door. She hurriedly put on a sports bra and covered it with a black camisole and hastily slid into leggings that showed how filled out she was. She tied her hair in a ponytail as the knocking resumed again. She sprinted to the door before the third time came for a knocking as she saw PERSON through the peephole. Shannon cracked the door as she looked at PERSON with a faint smile while she had beads of water from her shower. She looked at me through the crack of the door. I smiled back at her.
”Well no it couldn’t and yes I did miss you.”
I smile wide with roses in hand.

If he was trying to be charming, it failed considering that she didn't know the person at her door. She looked at him verrrry unamused...

She didn't know who this person was to say he "missed" her. She didn't like it much either.

Are you room service?? Because if you're room service, I was waiting for something and you don't seem to have it

Shannon looked at him again, the wink almost creeped her out covering as she didn't know who this guy was, why does he have roses annnnd why would he come out his mouth wrong. Most people were more approachable and themselves. She had left a text to her "side piece" that she is not appreciating some guy with roses at her door. Shannon didn't know if her side piece was behind this which is why she kept the door cracked to where the stranger couldn't enter.

If her side piece did this, she was going to slap him... and not in the way he would enjoy |

I shake my head and chuckle.
“Well I was told you like roses and I just wanted to meet you. Sorry for all the creepiness.”
He calms down a bit.
“Believe me, I’m not gonna try anything.”

Who would know that Shannon liked roses?? She doesn't know who the guy is at her door...his apology barely eased her, but she wasn't entirely too comfortable with his approach earlier

Shannon's temper was getting the best of her at this point. Shannon felt insulted for several reasons.

She was mad and well he wasn’t helping matters. He said a lot of stupid things.
“Okay calm down… I’m mark I had a lot of classes with you back in school.”
He chuckles
“Yeah I tried but I get it. I’m sorry for that I should’ve did this differently.”
